-People always say “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” That, though, does not seem like a specific enough statement. Where are the tough going? Maybe they went to grab some Korean food or to pick up a pack of gum. A better statement would be “When the going gets tough, the tough get going TOWARDS the problem and not in the complete opposite direction even though that seems like the most logical decision because no problem ever gets handled by going in the opposite direction. Duh.”

-I don’t know what the meaning of life is, but after watching seven hours of MTV2 today, I’m pretty sure that channel has nothing to do with it. I’ll test out VH1 tomorrow.

-One time, I said that I would “kill someone for more of that cake.” For the record, I would not have killed anyone for a dessert. I hope everyone else feels the same way, but just in case, I will always turn down the last piece of anything.

-When Abraham Lincoln delivered the Gettysburg Address, I’m sure there were a handful of people who missed the majority of the speech trying to add four score to seven.

-There is no reason to believe that you can’t reach your dreams. All you need is hard work, a tiny bit of luck, and the other person who is trying to reach the same dream as you to take a nice convenient fall down a flight of stairs and you can have everything you’ve ever wanted.
