For those who have not heard, former Republican vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin is in some hot water. It seems that Palin took to her Facebook to say “President Obama’s shuck and jive shtick with these Benghazi lies must end…”
This in itself would not be a big deal if it wasn’t for the fact that “Shuck and Jive” is a term from the era when African-Americans were kept as slaves in America. Seeing as President Barack Obama is our first black president, many are screaming about this being racist.
To help Sarah avoid this situation again, I have written a handy checklist for her:
Things To Check Before Posting to Facebook
__ Everything is spelled correctly
__ The grammar is correct
__ I have gotten all of the facts straight (as you are a politician, this one is optional)
__ No incorrect emoticon usage. An incorrectly placed winky face could be very bad.
__ Have added folksy sayings to make myself accessible to the common person
__ Have Googled said folksy sayings to make sure they are not accidentally racist
If you follow all of these guidelines, Sarah, you will never have another problem. You’re welcome.

I agree 100% except that she is not a politician. Cheers from Palin country.
