With the Olympics in full gear, I have watched sports I have never thought I would watch. Water polo. Bicycle sprinting. Competitive hat wearing. Everything that can be considered a sport has been viewed by me. In honor of the confusion that the Olympics causes me, I have dug up this classic about the ultimate sport I do not get.

  2. Nathan, my Husband is an American and he really doesn’t care about soccer. I shared the same amount of his enthusiasm about Steelers during on and off season but he cares less about Philippines Soccer team-Azkals, he doesn’t watch the game with me and knowing the ratings and score standing is enough without even bothering excruciating how the game went. :-)

  3. I am right there with you on the soccer. It’s not that I don’t understand it, it’s just that it’s boring. The idea of watching a bunch of guys running around for an hour and a half is just not riveting to me. Maybe if I lived in a country that didn’t have football, baseball, basketball or hockey, I’d have no choice but to find soccer interesting. Fortunately this isn’t my problem.

  4. As you will see from my most recent post I am a huge Olympics watcher. I love watching sports that make you go huh? For instance winter Olympics curling event. Love watching and never thought I would care. Summer games skeet shooting highlights since gokd medalst is realated. All good for Americans to branch out.
